Cocoa Cuddle Classics is a plush brand made up of five collectible characters, each inspired by an existing iconic chocolate. Each chocolate has its own personal meaning and story, turning familiar treats into adorable characters with a playful yet refined, elegant aesthetic.
Inspiration behind TOBLERBROS
Before I ever tried Toblerone chocolate, I was under the impression that the chocolate was meant for people who hiked and camped in the mountains. I didn’t try it for years because, well, I wasn’t exactly in the mountains thinking about chocolate. That first impression stuck with me and became the main inspiration behind the design.
TOBLERBROS reimagines each chocolate segment as a collectible plush “bro,” carrying the iconic triangular form into both the character and packaging. Each TOBLERBRO connects through magnets and fits within its own packaging, creating an interactive experience inspired by the original chocolate.

The plush packaging was designed to become part of the play experience rather than simply serving as a container. Inspired by the original Toblerone packaging, the structure allows each individual plush chocolate piece to fit neatly inside, while the cap perfectly slides over the body of the package.

TOBLERBROS plush consists of nine individual plush chocolate segments that are held together through magnets. Each piece is precisely designed to line up seamlessly with the next, creating a complete chocolate bar while still allowing separation or interaction.

Initially, I wanted each piece to have a different facial expression, but I was not successful in locating cohesive beads to match all the face poses.

Originally, the idea was to make each piece of chocolate a different shade of brown to represent different kinds of chocolate like: white, milk, and dark chocolate and all the inbetweens, creating a gradient effect…
Prototyping
The first step in creating a great plush is developing a solid pattern. A pattern is essential for creating an initial white model. For this model, I wanted to maintain the recognizable shape of a Toblerone bar: a triangular form with a small rectangular section behind it. This shape is repeated 11 times, thus making a whole Toblerone chocolate bar.

After making several pieces and testing different sizes and shapes, I realized that the rectangular section on the back was adding too much visual weight to each piece. With the rectangular section, a full bar would be made up of five pieces. I decided to remove it and create a simpler triangular shape, which allowed me to fit more pieces together and make a full bar with closer to eleven pieces.

After refining my sketches, I began sourcing fabrics for the final prototype. While testing different shades, I found that the darker browns blended too closely with the black beads I planned to use for the eyes, while the lighter shades appeared too washed out. To keep the chocolate pieces visually distinct and maintain the details of the face, I settled on a cool, medium brown

Simplified the shape, adjusted the proportions, and established a color scheme
